Sociables is in charge of this event, which is open to all members of the League and prospective members.

The League is a nonprofit service organization that raises and provides funds for high school scholarships, based on financial need and achievement, and community projects as the needs arise.

Money raised has been used for a room at the library, computers for the Police and Fire departments, bulletproof vests for the police, financial help for the Fire Department, an air-conditioned bus for the Council on Aging, a tractor for the nonprofit Land's Sake Farm, funds for METCO students, subsidizing student psychological counseling, and aiding the Community Directory for Substance Abuse, the Boston Food Bank, battered women's groups and many local and community agencies.

Membership is open to all women in Weston.
