No excuses – find the time!... Computers, office jobs, and a fast-paced society have turned Americans into lazy, overweight people. Obesity levels are at an all-time high and I am here to tell you that the excuses have to stop. Excuses need to be tossed out of your mind. The only reason people don’t lose weight is because they’re too lazy to do so. You know how I know this? I was among the lazy and overweight people who made excuse after excuse to avoid exercise! I have first-hand experience and knowledge. Now I am sympathetic to the “not enough hours in the day theory.” It is a real problem. That’s where you are going to have to get creative. I don’t care what anyone says, the hours of the day can be manipulated. Spend 30 minutes less putting your makeup on, people. Get up one hour earlier each morning or go to sleep one hour later each night. Record American Idol (Go Taylor and Kelly! ) and watch it later. Use that hour to work out. It can be done. How do I know this? I do it. I have 60 hours of television recorded currently that I catch up with a little at a time on the weekends. Hmm… weekends. There’s a concept. There should be no excuses on the weekends. You should be open to working out, walking, riding a bicycle, or anything to get active on the weekend. There aren’t any good TV shows on the weekend, except for sports.
